Toni Stritzke

The quicker the sketch, the better to “catch” someone’s personality.
I liked this photo as I could feel a little of that person’s character-wry, shrewd, nobody’s fool, slightly wary (but that maybe about having one’s photo taken)
I try to think of these things when I’m painting or drawing.

    Love the way the painting expresses the underlying happy character of the subject. So often a photo seems to ‘freeze’ the subject. I think this artist’s impression displays the warmth of the subject. Excellent.
